What are probiotics and why do I need them?
Probiotics are formulas designed to promote the growth of beneficial microorganisms, also called good bacteria. Healthy human intestines contain billions of microorganisms--both good and bad. The good bacteria in the intestine are considered an integral part of your immune system. Probiotics provide good bacteria that synthesize the B complex vitamins and crowd out yeast and parasites. Adults take 1 caplet 3 times per day with 8 ounces of water or juice. For advanced use, take 6-12 caplets per day for 90 days, followed by a maintenance level of 3 per day for life. Best taken on an empty stomach. Great for pets.
